Terms of Service
Last updated 21 July 2026
yum.codes is a service operated by Decaying Spheres, based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
What the service does
yum.codes lets record labels and artists distribute Bandcamp download codes. You upload codes exported from Bandcamp; we host a page where your fans and press can each claim one. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Bandcamp.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. You must give an accurate email address so we can reach you and let you recover your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Acceptable use
Only upload codes you have the right to distribute. Don't use the service to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, impersonate another label or artist, or abuse the platform. We may suspend or remove accounts that do — including, where necessary, without notice.
Free plan and subscription
The free plan lets you publish up to two releases. An annual subscription (£30/year) removes that limit. You can subscribe or cancel at any time from your manage page. Cancelling stops future charges; your access continues until the end of the year you've already paid for. Releases you created while subscribed remain available to your fans afterwards, but you'll need an active subscription to add new ones beyond the free limit.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Because the service is delivered digitally and immediately, we don't generally offer refunds for partial periods, but if something has clearly gone wrong, email us and we'll sort it out fairly.
Availability and "as is"
We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but it's provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the previous twelve months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Cancellation and termination
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll change the date above when we do, and significant changes will be communicated by email where appropriate. Continuing to use the service means you accept the current terms.
